We are sorry to report that Eugene
Vanderworth is compelled to miss
school a few days In order to help his
father. We hope Eugene is soon with

Mr. Willie Suter is absent from
school today. It is reported he is at-
tending a "rabbit drive". We are
quite uneasy about him, being afraid
they might mistake his "long ears"
for those of a rabbit's ears and shoot
him.
Mr. Turner has been called to the
bed aide of his sister at Rochester
who is very ill. This has disabled
Mr. Turner from teaching school a
day or so. Mrs. Alvin Bristol is
filling the vacant place. We hope
Mr. Turner is soon with us again.
The Juniors got the shock of then-
lives when Tom Ed Simpson came 10
school the other day with his HAIR
COMED!
Mr. Turner gets the pleasure every
day of having Mary Lou Martin v<-
spit out her chewing gum during Ge-
ometry class.
The Juniors will finish their Span
ish Text Book this week. All will
pass the subject we think. Here is
