LOVELY PARTY
HO$pR ADDISON'S
Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Addison
Were honor guests in" the John
Caylor home Friday evening. Mr.
and Mrs. John Caylor and Dr.
and Mrs. Teas were co-hosts.
Upon the arrival of Mr. and Mrs.
Addison, a miniature wedding
was enacted by the following
small folk: Bobbie Wiggins was
the small bride. Her dress was
of white satin, in Princess style.
She wore a white veil and car-
ried a bride's bouquet. The
bride's attendants dresses were
pastel shades. The bride's maid
Was Patty Hutton, whose corsage
was of orchid; and' yellow. Other
attendants were: Laverne Tray-
ler, Ouanda Durham, Marylin
Witt and Rose Myrl Payne. The
giroom was Charles Pickens and
Lewis Flewelling acted as min-
ister. Following the ceremony,
the small bride and groom es-
corted' Mr. and Mrs. Addison to
thie dining room, where many
beautiful gifts were arranged'.
Refreshments were served. This
is believed to be one of the
loveliest parties of the season.

Shaw delightfully entertained' a
number of friends at a bridge
party held Tuesday night, in the
home of Mrs. Jesse Grimes. The
rooms were, attractively decor-
ated with white peonies and pink
roses. There were seven tables,
at which Miss Velma Tepe made
high and Mrs. Webster Lee sec-
ond high. Mrs. Morris Bennett
was given a traveling award.

A group of little folks were at
the home of Thomas Lee Bowl-
and last Friday afternoon from
4 to 5 to enjoy with Tommie his
fourth birthday and first party.
Refreshments of ice cream and
birthday cake were served to
Judith Ann Guthrie, Beth and
Ladon Trollinger, Larry and
Tommy Bowland. June Guthrie
entertained the young folks with
a number of games.

The Locust Grove Home Dem-
onstration Club held its regular
meeting Friday, May 4, at the
home of Miss Lloyd. Bussard.
The meeting opened with the
club prayer, followed by the read-
ing of the minutes by the secre-
tary.
Miss Grace Bobbins gave a re-
port on the council meeting on
Saturday, April 28. All members
are urged to send in their favor-
ite recipes for the "Cook Book"
that is to be published by the
council. The annual short course
for district one is to be held in
Canyon on May 15. All members
have a cordial invitation to at-
tend.
Roll call was answered with:
How I press and magazines that
might be exchanged; Lesson
topics with a round table dis-
cussion were: Reading, "Influ-
ence On Home Demonstration
Work." Suggested list of books
for exchange. Why have a lib-
rary for the club?
The club is planning. an all-
day meeting with a covered dish
luncheon at noon on May 18, at
.the home of Mrs. R. H. Cowan.
At this time foundation patterns
for new members will be made.
