RAILROAD EMPLOYES AND COMPENSATION.
The average number of employes of Texas rail-
roads in 1925 was 76,442, an ncrease of 304. or .40
per cent, as compared with the number of employes
shown in 1924
There is some duplication in the average number
of employes account of joint officers and employee
in the service of more than one company.
Annual compen-ation paid to employes during the
year was $109,309,453, a decrease of $248,031, or
.23 per cent less than the previous year.
