PALERMO, Jan. 1.—Survivors of
the destruction of Reggio are begin-
ning to arrive here ’They all terf

Southland that a deal might be madf
for tbe transfer of the college prop-
erty to the city, and a conference
looking to that end was held. But
there was too wide a difference be-
tween the two parties to the dead and
later it was relied off by both sides
