Congressional Committee on Immigra-
tion and Naturalization which Is con-
ducting u state-wide investigation of
the Japanese menace v III leave for

year sentence In the Federal ponit-'n-tlary.
Ilouldln was convicted in No-
vember 1017 of -violation of the es-
pionage net following the publication
of an iitiicle at the time of the court-
martial of negro member of the 24th
regiment for participtitlonjn the Hour-
ton riots. The editor was charged
with Inciting insubordination among
United States troops. The l'nlel
States Supreme court recently refuM'd
to consider the case.
