The Cecilia Steinfeldt Fellowship for
Research in the Arts and Material
Culture is given annually for research in
the decorative and fine arts, material
culture, preservation, and architecture
in Texas from the seventeenth century
to the present. The award will be
announced at the Association's annual
meeting in March 1999. Judges may
withhold the award at their discretion.
Individuals should submit one copy of a
proposal to each committee member by
December 31, 1998. For addresses of

The Cecilia Steinfeldt Fellowship was
established in 1996 to honor Cecilia
Steinfeldt, the longtime curator of the
Witte Museum of San Antonio, in recog-
