The Texas Legislature has set aside a number
of "special observance days" ith the proision
that they are not to be considered legal holidays
In some instances, however, they coincide with
days otherwise designated as legal holidays The
following "special observance days" on the Tex-
ans' 1947 calendar are noteworthy .
