or not tho pruirio dog should bo
exterminated in Tom Green
county indicate the success of tho
proposition to destroy them by a
very large majority.

fested and only a few votes were
nolled at tho different boxes.

Work will soon begin repairing
tho Concho Water-power Com-
pany's dam. Tho repairs will
consume some time in the mak-
ing and when the dam is recom-
puted it will be a fixture. Tho
Company will then successfully
control tho Concho.
E. L. Crawford who was hero
last fall and winter with John
Freeland's store has returned to
Sun Angelo. He has been spend-
ing some weeks in Titus Frank-
lin county nnd Tho Press is glad
to welcome him buck to San An-
gelo. Fred Gerher tho younger suff-
ered the misfortune Thursday of
having a sodawuter hottlo which
ho was charging to burst in his
hand. That member was badly
luscoruted; but tho attending
physician dressed the wound and
Fred is getting along fairly well.

tho Gwin-AUen building for a
store room and ore putting stun"

stock of furniture and under-
takers goods is coining in and in
order to have room enough to
store it this building was pro-
cured. Ed Gregson was oporated on
for appendicitis this week. Dr.

Coulson and Knupp of this place
