A Truce Declared Till Monday.
Course of the Grand "Jury.
Frankfort Ky. April 16 A
truce in the Senatorial bajtle
has been de laired until next
Tuesday. The respective steer
ing committees this afternoon
received telegrams that on Mon-
day one vote should be cast for
each of the candidates. Nearly
half of the members have gdne
home and most of thS remain
ing half will go to Louisville on
a special train tomorrow after-
noon to attend the address to
morrow afternoon of W. Bryan
at the Auditorium It ts gener
ally agreed that the Blackburn
people are hoping for the indict
ment of Munter on the idea that
if indicted he cannot withdraw
under a could that could not be
lifted until the trial of the in-
dictments which would last the
bummer out. The grand jury
which has kept three deputy
sheriffs busy looking for and
summoning witnesses for two
weeks is not yet through and
adjourned again tonight with
out makinc: a report. The court
adjourns early tomorrow after
noon for the week and it is said
that Judge Cantrill has notified
the jury that a report must be
forth coming before the'adjourn
ment.
There were three ballots to
day resulting as follows: Hun
ter 5S; Blackburn 42; Martin
11; Boyle 6; Stcne- 1. Neces-
sary to choice 60.
BOYS SUICIDE.
Angry Because They Are Not
Taken to Town They
Take Poison.
Fayetteville Ark. April i6
Tvo young sons of a Mr.
Heeson living at Greenland
five miles south of Fayetteville
aged 9 and 15 years commit
ted suicide while their parents
were at Fayetteville trading.
The boys were angry because
they were left home and took
a bath dressed in their best
clothes wrote' a note to their
parents pinned it on a door
took strychnine and went to
bed. Both died before their
parents returned home. The
note they left bade their par
ents goodby and expressed
the hope that they would riieet
them in heaven.
