How to Prevent Croup.
In a child that is subject to at-
tacks of croup, the first indication
of the disease is hoarseness. Give
Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy as
soon as ihe child becomes hoarse
and the attack may be warded off
and all danger and anxiety
avoided. adv
Lloyd George’s declaration that
Great Britain did not go to war
fur the purpose of enlarging and
country’s boundaries ought to
simplify matters. The Kaiser
t vidently understands that this
declaration includes Germany.
Chamberlain's Cough Remedy.
This is not only one of the best
and' most efficient medicines for
cough, colds and croup, but is also
also pleasant and safe to take,
which is important when medi-
cine must be given to children.
Manv mothers have given it their
unqualified endorsement. adv
Foreigh Minister Puerrpydon
is revealed, if not as an arui-Ger-
man, at least as a robust Argent
tinian, bent on asserting the
right and dignity of his country,
even if it should become neces-
sary to declare war on Germany.
Stomach Trouble and Constipation.
Those who are afflicted with
stomach trouble and constipation
should read the following: “I have
never found anything so good for
stomach trouble and constipation-
as Chamberlain’s Tablets. I have
used them off and on now for the
past two years. They not only
regulate the action of the bowels
but stimulate the liver and keep
one’s body in a healthy condition,”
writes Mrs. Benjamin Hoope, Au-
burn, N. Y. adv
Without the assistance of votes
from Canadian soldiers overseas,
says an Ottawa telegram, the
union government and its plat-
form of conscription won on the
17th in the dominion’s general
election. Sir Robert Borden’s
administration has a majority has
a majority of more than forty
seats, and this may be increased
to sixty when the soldier vote is
tabulated.

Chamberlain’s Tablata.
Chamberloin’s Tablets are in-
.tended especially for stomach
troubles, biliousns3s and constipa-
tion, and have met with much suc-
cess in the treatment of those dis-
eastes. People who have suffered
for years with stomaoh trouble and
have been unable to obtain a per
manent relief, bave been com-
pletely cured by the use of these
tablets. Chamberlain’s Tablets
are also of great value for bilious
ness. Chronic constipation may
biT permanently cured by tak-
ing Chamberlain’s Tablets and
observing the plain printed direc-
tions with each bottle. adv
