PROGRAMME OF THE OLD SETTLERS PIC-NIC.

FIRST DAY--AUGUST 16, 1883.
The crowd will meet at the picnic grounds promptly at 10 a. m.
Address of welcome by J. P. Mills.
Response by Capt. J. D. Woods.
DINNER.
The afternoon will be devoted to social talks, general amusements, base ball, games, shooting tournaments, croquet, etc., etc.
Speech by Judge Silas Hare at 8 p. m.
After speaking balloon ascensions and fireworks contributed by Harry Mitchell.
SECOND DAY, FRIDAY, AUGUST 17TH, 1883.
The members of the Association will meet at the stand at 9 a.m., sharp, for transaction of business, election of officers, etc.
Speech at 11 a. m., by Col. Robt. H. Taylor, of Fannin county.
Dinner.
Afternoon--Social chats. General amusements for young and old; base ball games, shooting, croquet, games, etc.
valedictory address by Uncle Ben Christian at 8 p. m.
After speaking, balloon ascension, fireworks, &c., contributed by Harry Mitchell.
The committee on behalf of the Association acknowledge the receipt of an invitation to meet the Old Settlers of Collin at their reunion on the 7th and 8th of August, which invitation is accepted with thanks, and we hereby extend greetings, and invite their associates to meet with us on the 16th and 17th.
The committee will spare no pains to have everything in order for the comfort of members and visitors. It will be a comparatively liesure time; come out all, and bring your baskets well filled with the substantials, and camp with us two nights, and we promise you a real love feast--a good time generally.
