Dear Sir The maker who puts 2 or
3 lbs of whiting ba rjtes or clay In a
gallon of paint saves 130 or 8225
or himself and makes j ou overpaj
23 on a 850 job
x
It takes 15 gallons of hl3 weak paint
It is weak from that adulteration
and probably weak from benzlno or
water besides It takes 15 gallons of
that poor stuff to cover a 10gallon
Job Devooj U may take 20 Heres a
case
Judge I D Falrchlld owns Wo
houses oxactly alike In Lufkln Te
J M Torrence painted botih houses
one Dovoe 15 12 gallons tho other
with another paint sold at same price
23 gallons That 25 gallon paint Is
weak and 15 per cent whiting thats
why it took 0 12 gallons more
It costs 82 to 1 a gallon to paint
any paint whether good or not Add
this to the price and the cost of your
job is 85 a gallon 75 or 100 for
trash Devoo 830 > f
Patnt that tatosmora gallons may-
or may not be adulteiated there are 3
pure paints and ZOO adulterated Do
voo is the strongest of all it takes
least gallons makes the least bill and
wears longest of oil
You can overpay from 10 to 120 per-
cent and tho rame you pay tho worse
jour job In paint the rule is least
gallons least cost longest wear
Yours truly
