Anniversary Sermon
Dear Editors: I have been in Collin County 68 years; was born April 14, 1832, in Green County,
Missouri. I am 82 years old today, and, if not providentally hindered, I will preach at the East
McKinney Church of Christ, April 9, 1914, at 11 o'clock, being the Third Lord's Day in April. I
invite my brethren and sisters and friends, both young and old, to come out and hear me on that
occasion of this, my eighty-second anniversary sermon. John M McKinney. McKinney, Texas.

Etta McKinney
Dora Dean Fraize Rudd wrote that she has a picture of Miss Etta McKinney, from Wylie TX. The
picture belonged to her late father. She does not know what connection this picture or person
was to her father. She included a zerox copy of this picture and invites anyone who can claim it
to write to her, and they may have it.
She states that her father's half sister Mary Aldridge Mattingly is supposed to be buried in Collin
County and that some of the Pool/Pooles from KY were here in the late 1800's.
Her address is: 3814 Deer Trail, Temple TX 76504-4649
