Description: 9"x6" hardback Contents:
Pages: 113 26 Pages of descendency records
80 pages of letters
Fifty of eighty-two letters found a number of years ago involved the Brown and Warer families
of Medina Co., Ohio and Adams Co., Indiana. Justine Miller, along with the help of other
descendents of these families, compiled a wonderful record of the exchange, between the two
families, of information about family and friends. There are many copies of the original letters,
as well as transcribed letters. Many things are discussed including the births and deaths of
family members, the state of the weather and the crops, and the hopes of the families. They
inquire about what is going on with those to whom they write, and sending greetings to others.
There is always a thread of their faith in God to see them through whatever is to come.
There are descriptions of the areas, and events that are occurring around them. It is almost like
peering into a window of someone's home and watching the activities that are going on there.
The book has a bibliography and a five page index of names including Brown, W namer,
Gessinger, Lenhart, Rockwell, Shaw, as well as a number of others.
