"Tell mo thatyou Lovo me" "If you don't got someone
to worry about you nin't got nothing." "I like to have a
lot of nice things it takes the place of love."
Lovo It's notono of thoso superficial values. It's real; It's
the basic need of every human animal yet maybe we tear
It even moro than we fear hate or war.or nothlnimu. This
seems evident by tho way so few people will take the time
to learn moro about lovo which Is what "Toll Mo That You
Lov6 Me Junto Moon" had a wealth of Insight on." But
last weekend though the crowds were small the perfor-
mance was high and thoso who went were perhaps
teary-eyed and slightly downhearted as It was rumored
they would be but fiey did leave with more value than
anticipated. A play like this doesn't have you rolling In the
aisles nor can you say you truly had the most fun In
attending It that you've ever had in your life but the
memories ot tho deepest things that It touched within you
will not go as quickly as tho laughter of a purely momentar'
Ity entertaining performance.
Wo will probably never have to face the defects that the
characters facod but wo still learned that everyohe has
Imperfections and that love must and can overlook those
faults; "mtyistys beautiful in their own. way." Wo may
soon find that person who we feel so special about and
putting our knowledge again In force we may build up the
courage to give oxproiston to that love because word-
less It may also appear lifeless.
And If tho experience played sq emotionally on the
audience Imagine what It did to the cast. It was amazing
to see such basclally happy appearing Individuals in
such serious painful rjoles and doing so well at It. They
deserve a lot of credit and apprclatlon for helping to
promote the lessons of the paly especially since their
larger role In tho drama of everyday existence displays so
much loye for thler fellowman.

Happy Easter McMurrlansi Did you enjoy your dance
1 on Good Friday and tho movie "Frankenstein" planned
especially for you on Easter night?
Sure we've grown out of the Easter Egg hunting but
that doesn't moan Easter should resemble Halloween for
us. Then there Is dancing; many of us have nothing
apalnst dancing personally or spiritually except on that
particular night wo had Inert hang-ups about It. Qrow'up?
'Porhaps these are values Which we'd be bettor off not
growing out of.
For us who claim to bo Christian the significance of
Easter Is the meaning of our lives and the symbol of Love
In tho sacrifice of Christ; yet wo give far greater voice and
celebration to the Christmas seson.
Of course we hon't even have the opportujlty to
awaken its meaning with our families because McMurry
doesn't schedule a break around Easter. But that's un-
derstandable since It falls so close to the end of our term
and besides thl Easterless tradition has Its blessugs.
Riding abui and seeing the sun rise on a long lonely
stretch between here and El Paso or wherever and sing-
ing with a friend and trying to relate to the two or three
others who had to catch a bus on that Easter Sunday
morning can give us a lot of thought and feeling about i
Easter birth and life.
For those who found that same scenic moment In some
way this Easter. Happy Easterf
