be elected during the annual

the McMurry Student Associa-

semester hours taken at Mc-
Murr.v College during his pro-

c A cheerleader failing to
meet any of the above stated
qualifications shall be automa-
tically removed for his position.
d Five Assistant Cheerleaders
shall be elected following the
election of the Head Cheerlead-
er at a time selected by the Head
Cheerleader-elect the total num-
ber of Cheerleaders to be three
men and three women.
. If more than six men or six-
women try out for assistant
cheerleader the following com-
mittee shall be called to screen
the contestants at a time de-
signated by the Head Chcorlead-er-clcct
and shall select six men
and six women who shall be
declared candidates for assis-
tant cheerleader positions

the Student Association by the
Congress
(2) A faculty member selected

dent Government and becomes

visions of the constitution which
this Constitution supersedes
shall remain in office and exer-
cise their powers and duties of
office as set forth in this Consti-
tution until their terms have
expired

Section 1 Amendments and
By-Law s
An proposed amendment to
this constitution passed by a
two-thirds majont.v of the mem-
bership of the Student Congress
shall become binding after it has
been published in one issue of an
official McMurrj publication
and after it has received a maj
ority of the ballots cast in a gen-
eral election following the pub-
lication All amendments must
be m accordance with the Char-
ter and By-Laws of McMurry
College as interpreted by a com-
mittee composed of advisors
andor Judges of the Student
Association Government.
Section 2 By-Laws
By-Laws appended to this
constitution which do not over
ride any provision of the Con-
stitution and which arc introduc-
ed In accordance with Article II
8 shall be considered constitut-
ional Section 3 Absorption and De-
letion. Amendments shall be absorb-
ed into the body of this constitu-
tion and material no longer valid
shall be deleted by the process
outlined in Article VIII.l.
