Lord Amuses Cast In
YCTIWY; Has
Genius For Fun
From the ranks of the McMur
r student body comes a selec-
tion of students and things that
make a grand cast for "You Can t
Take It With You " From the fac
ulty comes the director now an
overworked decrepit old man
Jackson Lord
Pievious to his association with
the cast mates he ranked high in
the realm of actmg directing and
speaking But now 40 jears later
in his life (actually only a month)
we find him with more assets for
his experiences but in no shape
to be interviewed when approach-
ed by this writer
As a graduate of Bob Jones
College Jackson came to McMur-
rj to be assistant instructor in
Bpeech From the record of
his athletic accomplisrments
the administration s e r i o u s ly
considered having h i m play
tennis football basketball or box
for the school However after a
few excellent recitals he advanc-
ed to head of the speech depart-
ment and is now ' punching the
bag" for the theatrical successes
In directing YCTIWY the cast
has found him not only blessed
with knowledge of acting but" also
endowed with enough cratj ideas
