religious education at Golden
Gate Seminary bringing a rich

education area at the Seminary.
He received the bachelor of
arts degree from Baylor
University Waco Texas and
the bachelor of divinity master
of religious education master
of divinity and doctor of
education degrees from South-
western Baptist Theological
Seminary in Fort Worth Texas.
He was Baptist Student Union
Director and teacher of the
Bible Chair at University of
Texas. Arlinaton. and Sul Rots

He served as minister of
youth and minister of music and
youth at a number of churches
in Texas. He was also the

and stewardship lessons for the
Stewardship Division of the
Baptist General Convention of
Texas.
He was born in Austin Texas
December 15 1935. In 1962 he
married the former Mary
Elzlns Southerland. The couple

Student Foundation has a
brimming schedule of activities
planned for October. Leading
the list is the Foundation's
homecoming show " Paint
Yourself a Rainbow of Fan-
tasies" and numerous
recruting trips.
Auditions for the homecoming
show will be held at 2:00 p.m.
Oct. 17 (Sunday afternoon) in
Mima Auditor m. Individuals
interested in auditioning should
sign up by 5:00 p.m. this af-
ternoon in the SF offices located
behind the library.
