With 10-15 Record Cellar Tie

Howaid Payne finished the
basketball campaign with a 10-
15 lccoid for the season and 3-11
in confeience waifare tied with
Texas A & I foi the cellai spot.
Statistical wm the Yellow
Jackets weie second in scoting
averaging 73 G points per game.
They weie second in fiee throw
percentage G9 9 and third in team
rebounding with 39 6 per game.
They finished sixth in field goal
percentage with a 40 5 ma'rk and
ended up a dead last in team
defense allowing 77 points per
game.
Robeit Moore scored 388 points
to lun his three year total to
1299 a school lecoid. He was
sixth in the conference with a
per game average of 16.2. Stan
Owen was tenth scoring 341
points and averaging 13 6.
Jeny Foiderhase lacked in 270'
or 10 8 pet game followed by
David Walls with 267 and 116
Arlen White 250 and 10 0 and
Doyle Rogers 233 and 10 6 to
give the Jackets six players in
the double figures.
David Walls led the team in

for fouith place in the confeience.
Owen was fifth with 74 4. Rogers
hit 70 7
White and Moore were seventh
and eight in field goal accuracy
respectively with 47 9 and 47.7.
Rogers hit 41.5 third best on the
team. Edwin Cox shooting only
15 times had 12 field goals for
80 pei cent accuracy.
Moore led the team in rebounds
garnering 221 to White's 212. They
weie seventh and eighth in the
conference. Forderhase got 176
and Owen 160.

is gone then comes Apnl and
then May. School will be out in
no time
This is reallv a bad time of the
year especially wheie clothes
are concerned. One day we wear
a spnng outfit and the next we
"bundle' up in a coat and scaif.
The boys are so disappointed
in the weathei Moie than once
they have planned to set out a
hotline and most of them haven't
been able to because it was too
cold Bettei luck next time' Won't
a good ole fih fi be fun''
This is the middle of the sev-
enth wick Wow! Guess I had
bettei get 'on the lam' and get
with It especially with this new
rigged up giading system we
have!
I know some of the boys are
glad there is a little cold weather
the new jackets aie so pretty
and they have to be shown off.
