Rodriqucz in first year
of psychology
graduate studies
STAFF REPORT
Joel Rodriqucz graduate
student of psychology died
Friday at his home of un-
known causes according to
an ACU press release. He
was 22.
University officials could
not comment on details
relating to his death.
Students gathered Mon-
day evening to share memo-
ries of Rodriqucz and a
prayer service was conduct-
ed Tuesday at Elmwood Fu-
neral Home. The funeral
service was Wednesday at
New Life Temple with the
Reverend Ezcquiel Pccina
officiating and burial fol-
lowing at Elmwood Mem-
orial Park.
Dr. Wayne Barnard dean
of Campus Life said he is
working with the Psych-
ology Department on plans
for some kind of memorial
service on campus.
Rodriquez obtained his
undergraduate degree in
psychology in May and had
begun his first year in the
psychology graduate pro-
gram. He was born in New York
