Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer are needed to provide
chlldcare during Lectureship Feb.
22-25. There are morning and
evening sessions that need to be
covered.
HaMtat for Humanity needs vol-
unteers to help with a marathon
Feb. 14. It needs people to tend to
refreshment tables and pass out
water to the runners from 7:30-
11:30 a.m.
Tk International Rescue
CmwKtee needs volunteers to help
local refugee families get trans-
portation tutor their children and
help them get adjusted to a new cul
ture. Times are flexible.
Volunteers are needed to prac-
tice English conversation with a
group of Japanese students who will
be visiting ACU from Feb. 17 to
March 3. Volunteers will spend 30
minutes to an hour talking about
topics of their choice with one or
two of the visiting students who
speak English at a beginning level.
Students would need to meet some-
time between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m.
as the students will be in class at
other times. Please e-mail Laura

ACU's Institute of Intensive English
if you are Interested In learning
more about this. Volunteers who
could help several times would be
great but one-time help is welcome
too.
The Wildcat KM' first activity
this semester is the ACU women's
basketball game this Thursday Feb.
5 at 6 p.m. Come hungry!
Male volunteer are needed to
participate In 'Brother 2 Brother."
Volunteers will be matched with a lit-
tle brother and together they will do
field trips sports games art projects
and other events. For more informa-
