CARL DEGAN, Jr., married Miss Anna Al-
fords niece. We know a lot of kinfolks on
both sides of this family.
FIDWAYNE HOLT marriedDan Drew of Paris.
WE WOULD LIKE very much to see Betty New-
man married; but we will be in Big Spring.
She is a dear little friend of ours.
... -IT-SEEMS.-impossible that Eddie Savage\has‘
been with the Denton Couaty.National Bank’ for
23 years as * Round-About says. He is a fine
man,' I know his family---and he is now V-F.
IN NEW YORK, Herschel Kornblatt has mar-
ried a very sweet-faced girl. He's a fine boy.
THE GRADY DENMANS are in Corpus Christi—
and I bet it is "swultry" down there right now.
I 1 been there mor'n once.
Ens. -BILL BASS, Jr.,with his wife and ba-
by have gone to Norfolk, where he will do a
,ftour of duty” on the Mighty "Mo.”
OUR NEAR NEIGHBOR,'F. Z‘.WILLIAMS, druggist
With . .Curtis Drug, is often very quiet at ball-
games. Mrs:; Williams graduated from TCU; JPrah*?
ces, the youngest daughter, also graduated•
from TCU; while Beth -graduated -from SMU; and
BOTH the girls married A & M boys. At foot- w
ball games Williams is known as "Diplomatic-
Williams ." • -
INCIDENTALLY this is a high-class family.
Good people I mean! Mr. Williams is active
in the Christian Church here; and was on the
official board of the First Christian Church in
Dallas a long time. I heard :that he moved to
Denton for the same reason that a lot Of other
folks came here—^He just wanted his family
in this kind of town. I hope he buys .a drug-
store---then we know hefd stay here.
CARL HILL and his mother are also ,*new
beighbors of ours. Carl is very enthusiastic
about The DOINGS. He says he reads it -care-
fully and has learned a lot of things he would
never have known otherwise. We are mighty
glad to welcome them to 2210 Palmer Drive.
Carl is having a. lot of work done on his yard.
He operates the elevator at the adm. bldg. TSCW
And he lends his DOINGS to faculty-people, who
ride his elevator. Can you beat that?
