announced but the Wildcat men-
tor is hopeful of successes far in

The first meet will be announc-
ed within a few weeks. It Is pos-
sible that Texas University Tex-
as A. and M. and the North
Texas will ho included on the
card. Cross country is not spon-
sored by tho Texas Conference;
no nil meets will bo placed with
a viow to oven hotter competition
than could 'be offered by the T.
C although they will be non-
conference. John Simmons undefeated No.
1 man of the team for the last
two years will again lead the
cross country jaunts. Ic will bo
assisted by 'several veterans of
iho cindcrpath such men as
Keagy Noilh Ward and Holden
being fin. tho list. Among others
who havo signified their Inten-
tion aro Wilson Green and No-
wellt star dash and hurdle men.
Regular track training will be
combined with tho cross country'
drills.
