Another very special gift is our limited edition of The War Between the
United States and Mexico, Illustrated, with text by George Wilkins Kendall,
illustrations by Carl Nebel, and a new introduction by Ron Tyler. It is
recognized as one of the most historically significant and beautiful pub-
lications dealing with Texas history. Printed in the original size of 171/
by 24 inches, this visually stunning book contains the twelve colored lith-
ographs that appeared in the 1851 original. In addition, the limited edi-
tion of ninety-five copies is signed by Ron Tyler, enclosed in a cloth tray
case with leather spine, bound in specially selected cloth with a leather
spine label, and includes an extra set of the twelve color plates suitable
for framing. These exquisite limited editions sell for $295 ($250.75 to
