McMurry Edged 74-71 By Wildcats
McMurry's Indians led the ACC
Wildcats right down to the finish
of their crosstown basketball clash
Tuesday night in Bennett Gym
but the Cats tied it up 64-64 as
the regular playing time elapsed
and went on to score a 74-71 over-
time victory.
ACC led only 1 :25 minutes dur-
ing the regulation game but
jumped out front in the overtime
and nursed a narrow lead
throughout the extra five min-
utes. The loss was a tough one for
the Indians who played perhaps
their best game of the year hit-
ting close to 50 per cent of their
field goal efforts and equalling
the taller Wildcats in the rebound
department.

The other day our vice president in charge of good
newt announced that someone somewhere enjoys Coke
68 million times a day. You can look at this 2 ways:
Either we've got an incredibly thirsty
individual on our hands. Or Coca-Cola is the
best-loved sparkling drink in the world.
We lean to the latter interpretation.
