Lytic Creek east" of town was
the scene of a gay picnic Thurs-
day evening for gobettes and
members of the T. I. P. girls club
and their guests.
The group assembled on the
creek bank shortly after six
o'clock for a delightful evening.
Thev were not disappointed for
the gobettct had planned an amus-
ing and educational program.
For thirty minutes over their
private radio station gobette an-
nouncers could be heard making
various and sundry remarks about
members of the T. 1. P. Club and
their guests. (Some people might
even have called the-e sayings
"wise cracks."")
Laughter resounded up and
down the banks of the creek and
when the station tymed off mem-
bers of the party were loath to
change programs.
Finding that thev were unab'a
to "tune in" another program '
that was half as entertaining as
that presented bv these young wo-'
men five in number the group
final I v decided to see if there was
anything to eat to be found in
their immediate vicinity.
Heans potato salad sandwiches
iced tea and ice cream were found
and almost as soon disappeared
again.
