McMurry College's newest organlza-
tion the O. V. G. T. Club met In the
regular monthly meeting with a
"Tacky" party at the home of Rev. L.
N. Stuckey at 520 Beech street last
Monday night.
The guests consisting of town stu-
dents were attired in costumes rang-
ing from age three to the garments of
aged fanners. Juan P Mason presi-
dent of the Phllo Society was garbed
as a modern young woman and his
costume would have easily won first
place had prUes been given.
Those who failed to provide them-
selves with costumes were unceremon-
iously and appropriately redressed to
nuit the lancy of the other guests.
(James were played until 11 o'clock
alter which angel food cake and ice
cream was served. A short business

dent. Miss Azallne Co was then held
anil arrangements were made for the
nest entertainment which will be held

pleasant evenings of the season.

'ng rules for contests in orations de-
clamations and readings:
Oratorical Contests n:e to be be-
tween boys and betwe.'n girls. The

minutes. The subject must be a mod-
ern topic of general interest. The pre-
limluailes tor the oratorical contests
must be held on or before April 22.
The duals will be held Commencement
Week. Tills contest counts 15 points
toward loving cup.
Declamation Contests are to be be-
