- Display Note: The Junior Black Academy of Arts and Letters present Hallelujah Hip Hop, A Christmas & Kwanza Holiday Concert. The concert featured seven Dallas Independent School District Choirs from the following high schools: A. Maceo Smith, South Oak Cliff, L. G. Pinkston, H. Grady Spruce, Lincoln, Franklin Roosevelt and David W. Carter. The special guests of the evening were the Cameron Youth Chamber Orchestra from St. Louis, Missouri. The choirs performed a variety of Sweet Soul Music, Spirituals and Gospels, Jazz, Classical, Swing, Rap, Rhythm and Blues. The concert was held Friday, December 8th 1995 at 8:00 PM in the Naomi Bruton Theatre at the Dallas Convention Centre Theatre.
