The Special Collections Department collects and preserves rare and unique materials including rare books, oral histories, university archives, historical manuscripts, maps, microfilm, photographs, art and artifacts. The department is located in UNT's Willis Library in the fourth floor Reading Room.
Video footage from the WBAP-TV station in Fort Worth, Texas to accompany a story by news reporter Wally Dixson about the Trinity River Authority accepting bids for the construction of the first of twenty locks needed to turn the Trinity River into a barge canal. The story includes an interview with Albert Hall, manager of the Southern Region of the Trinity River Authority.
