[Attendees touring Stearns Library]

Description: Photograph of attendees of the 47th Church and Synagogue Library Association conference, which was held in Portland, Oregon, standing in the Stearns Library at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. The group toured the location and visited the bookstore as well. Description: Photograph of a statue titled "The Spirit of Detroit," possibly taken during the late 1950's. The statue was commissioned in 1955 and dedicated in 1958, and it is owned by the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center. The statue features a man holding a different object in each hand. City and county seals can be seen on a wall behind it.

Description: Photograph of an altar that is has a stone overhang constructed above it. In the stone is a place for a statue and on the ground near the altar is another statue that is kneeling. A plaque to the left of the altar reads "Erected in grateful loving memory and honor of our valiant sons and daughters by St. Mary's Parish, centennial year 1945." On the back is a stamp for Keller's Studio.

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church

Description: Photograph of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Elm Street in Denton, Texas (built 1956). A statue is installed on the front wall of the brick building. The roof extends into an awning on the left side of the building, and on the right side of the building five vertical strips of stained-glass windows are installed.
