Description: Powder Mill Cemetery on FM 1997 in Marshall is a traditionally African-American site. It had become overgrown when a group organized to clean it up. Here a pile of brush shows how much was being accomplished. Vehicles are visible at right behind the brushpile.

Description: Photograph of Morgan Gieringer, head of the UNT Special Collections department, speaking during the DFW Archives Bazaar in the Pilot Grove Church at the Dallas Heritage Village. Gieringer and Evilu Pridgeon gave a presentation titled "Collecting 'The Dallas Way': A Partnership to Preserve LGBTQ Archives at UNT". There are windows, pianos, and Pridgeon are behind Gieringer.
