Description: Photograph of a mural by Lance Hunter, all rights reserved, featuring the "Hoo Hoo" Band. The bands' practice hall was located here in Cotton Square. This green space does not have a "City Park" sign, however I was not the only person enjoying the "park" area.

Mural in Downtown Lufkin

Description: Photograph of mural by Lance Hunter on Angelina Street in downtown Lufkin, Texas. The mural is on the back of the Lufkin ISD Administration Building that faces Cotton Square and is built where the 1882 Houston E.& W. railway depot was located. The Angelina & Neches (A&N) RR was a local short-line railroad started in 1900 to service the Angelina Lumber Company Mill (later the Southland Paper Mill) located about a mile east of this .
