Letter from Julia Kooken to John and Jo Stanford discussing a plan to flood the office of Ross Barnett with checks made out to a memorial fund for the family of Medgar Evers. The fund will support the Evers family while allowing Americans to express their position regarding Medgar Evers' death. There is a handwritten note at the bottom of the typed letter asking John and Jo to forgive the carbon copy and a list of other people Kooken sent the letter to.
