[Blue Building]

Description: Photograph of a blue building next to the Pines Theater on South First Street in downtown Lufkin. The photograph is of the upper window detail; the window has a dark red brick string course at the top and bottom, with the sides also framing the window in dark red brick. As with many older commercial brick buildings, this one has been stuccoed. The stucco currently is painted blue. Canopy rods and a 1950s-style metal canopy is visible below the window.

Description: Photograph of mural by Lance Hunter on Angelina Street in downtown Lufkin, Texas. The mural is on the back of the Lufkin ISD Administration Building that faces Cotton Square and is built where the 1882 Houston E.& W. railway depot was located. The Angelina & Neches (A&N) RR was a local short-line railroad started in 1900 to service the Angelina Lumber Company Mill (later the Southland Paper Mill) located about a mile east of this .
