Description: Patent for a dirigible airship for aerial navigation, "to provide the balloon or gas bag with aeroplanes which serve to steady the balloon during the flight of the ship, and to increase the lifting power of the balloon when the ship is under motion, the arrangement being such as to enable said aeroplanes to be converted into a parachute, should the balloon or gas bag become deflated" (lines 20-28).

[Letter from Harold to Mary Langrill - June 20, 1943]

Description: Video recording from The Black Academy of Arts and Letters recorded during the televised broadcast of the music documentary program "Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever" produced by Suzanne de Passe for Motown Records, to commemorate Motown's 25th year. The 1983 program was taped before a live audience in Pasadena, California on March 25, 1983 and broadcast on NBC May 16th. The tape shows the performance of black celebrity musicians.
