Description: Photograph of a Mexican Constitutional Soldier. A Constitutional soldado is taking aim at a distant target with his bolt action Mauser. The Constitutional soldado is wearing a khaki uniform, leather leggings, and a Stetson style hat. The soldado is a private in the Venustiano Carranza Constitutional Army. A second soldier, sitting off to the right, is holding a Winchester style rifle.

[Abraham González Casavantes with Madero]

Description: Photograph of Abraham González Casavantes with Francisco Madero. Abraham González was one of the main leaders of the Maderista Junta Revolucionaria Mexicana, which was a movement opposing the re-election of then-dictator Porfirio Diaz in 1910. Abraham González was murdered on March 7, 1913 in Bachimba Canyon on the orders from Victoriano Huerta. The first and second gentlemen in the photograph are not identified. The remaining men are Abraham González, Francisco Madero, and Pascual Orozco.

Description: Photograph of José Doroteo Arango Arámbula also known as Francisco "Pancho" Villa. Villa is holding a camera. Barely visible on the left side of the photograph is Rodolfo Fierro, who was also know as "the Carnicero," Pancho Villa's right hand man. Behind Villa and standing up is Pascual Orozco. The gentleman to the left of Villa, most likely a photo journalist, sits with Villa and smiles for the camera. The men are seated on a set of railroad tracks.

[Madero Camp Footbridge]

Description: Photograph of Madero Camp Footbridge. This photograph was taken from the El Paso side of the Rio Grande river looking south towards Ciudad Juarez. The area is near present day ASARCO and across the Rio Grande River from where Francisco Madero had established his headquarters. Several U.S. Soldiers can be seen near the entrance of the bridge.

[Francisco I. Madero]

Description: Photograph of Francisco Ignacio Madero Gonzalez. Sitting next to Madero, wearing a black coat, is Federico Garza. Across from Madero and Garza is "Soldier of Fortune" Guiseppi Garibaldi. Francisco Madero served as Presidente of Mexico from 1911 to 1913. Madero was betrayed by General Victoriano Huerta and was executed on February 22, 1913. This photograph was taken at Madero's camp in Ciuadad Juarez, just across the river from where Smeltertown would have been located.

Insurrecto Ambush

Description: Photograph of Insurrectos taking aim at Mexican Federal soldiers. The accompanying information on the back of the photographs simply reads: “Mexico Revolution - Juarez.” Somewhere beyond the tree line is the enemy and these seven insurrectos are taking aim and firing at the Mexican Federal soldiers or Constitutional Soldiers who are hiding beyond this group of trees. [Constitutional Artillery Team]

Description: Photograph of a Mexican Constitutional Army Artillery Team. The four member team has just fired an artillery shell and is preparing to fire another round. The man in the white shirt is in charge of loading and unloading the canon by opening or closing the breech of the canon. The two men to the left, who are closest to the photographer, are the handling the ammunition. A large projectile, seen on the far left, is being handled by one of the two men.
