[Antique Carriage in a Parade]

Description: Photograph of a black, old-fashioned carriage transporting costumed passengers in League City's sesquicentennial parade in honor of Texas' 150th birthday. The four passengers, seated in the rear cab of the carriage, are wearing clothing in the style of the mid-1800s. In keeping with the theme, the driver, who is seated in the front cab, is wearing a curly-haired wig. With the reins in hand, he drives the wagon down the major road in League City where the parade took place.

Description: Copy negative of Leticia Franks and Lloyd Harrison Medsger dressed as a queen and a king, respectively; they are standing outdoors near a large bush. Franks' costume consists of a crown, a staff, a long white gown, and a cape with an exaggerated stand-up collar. Medsger's costume consists of a jacket, a vest and shirt, short trousers, and a long, extravagant cape.
