Description: Patent for a new and improved heel-brace. This design "consist[s] in a semi-circular rim provided with two downward side extensions, the lower ends of said extensions being provided with inwardly extending lugs adapted to lie under the heel of a boot or shoe, said rim being also provided on its rear side with a downwardly-extending projection shorter than the side extensions, the lower ends of the extensions being provided with openings for the reception of screws" (lines 63-73).
