Description:
Patent for washboard that "is made for automatically moving, step by step, a cake of soap inclosed in a housing" (lines 9-11) against the cloths being washed and is "operated by the pressure exerted through the rubbing action upon a rubbing board associated with the device" (lines 22-24).
