Motor-Actuated Locking Device for Automobiles

Description: Patent for a device that prevents the drive shaft of an automobile from when moving when pushed by an unauthorized person. The device acts as a form of security to ensure unauthorized individuals are unable to move the vehicle. Additionally, the device can be used while the vehicle is in motion in order to slow the drive shaft, and thus the vehicle.

This design "is an improvement in the class of dogging apparatus which is affixed to one of the knees of a head-block of the log-carriage" (lines 8-11).
