Description: Postcard of Beaumont City Hall on Main Street between Gilbert and College streets. Two men can be seen standing on the right bottom of the picture. This building was built in 1909 to serve as a cooperative market by the City of Beaumont, but was used as a City Hall and Jail from about 1910 until 1926. Description: Postcard from Blanche S. to Mr. and Mrs. Jack M., giving her best wishes and saying she'll be homes in a few days. The front of the postcard features a photograph of Ye Kendall Inn, in Boerne, a long, two-story plantation style house with porches on both stories and a screened-in sun room on the far left side. The gravel driveway that runs parallel to the house is lined with trees, and has two automobiles parked on it. The name of the house is printed at the bottom of the postcard.
