Description: Interview with Uell M. Carter and George Killian, who are both World War II veterans and members of the "Lost Battalion" from Amarillo, Texas. In the interview, the two veterans describe what it was like to be Japanese prisoners-of-war. They both discuss their experiences and memories of the fall of Java and the capture of Surabaja in 1942, and also of the bicycle camp Batavia in 1942-45.
