[A social pastime.]

Description: This postcard reflects the influence that spread from the United States into Mexico as we look at a scene of the Jockey Club de Juarez funded by american investors. The racing season took place during the winter months which is reflected in the coat filled crowd. The site would later become a camp for Pancho Villa's army during his occupation of Ciudad Juarez.

Description: Nightgown and nightcap of pink silk crepe and handmade pink crochet lace. Nightgown is full length, sleeveless, round gathered neckline with wide straps and yoke of open floral crochet lace from neckline to empire waist on front and back, trimmed with blue ribbon, wide tuck at bottom hemline. Nightcap in bonnet shape of very open crochet netting with floral crochet lace inserts framing the front and three-dimensional rosettes at bottom front sides, serving as weights for side.

[Hebrew Institute Building Fund Committee]

Description: Letterhead stationary for the Hebrew Institute Building Fund Committee outlining all the donors for the institute and their monetary contributions. The building, designed by the architectural firm of Field and Clarkson, was constructed between April and August of 1914 in the 800 block of Taylor Street in Fort Worth, Texas at a cost of $14,668.
