[Individual Pay Record Book of James Darley, Company A 141st Infantry]

Description: Pay record book belonging to James Darley, the first page on the inside contains information about his birth date, the date of enlistment, and the date he opened the book. His net monthly pay is $2630; he has four entries of payments written in the table on page 4, all having date paid and the names of the "quartermaster making payment." Pages 9 through 11 include instructions for the soldier about how to handle such an account and that they are to wear them at all times.
