Photograph of downtown Corpus Christi after the hurricane of 1919. Debris is being cleared in front of the Nueses Hotel, a furniture company and Lichtenstein's store. Inscribed on the back of the photo, " Clearing away wreckage down-town on Chapaeral St. Lichtenstein's have their things out trying to dry them. X is the Nueces Hotel. This is where the water was up in the lobby."
