[Villistas Entering Ciudad Juarez]

Wounded Man

Description: Photograph of a wounded man. This unidentified wounded man is being carried into this building by several members of the Mexican Red Cross. During the Mexican Revolution, the Mexican Red Cross of Ciudad Juarez was also being assisted by doctors and nurses from El Paso. The man at the far right is wearing the medical Red Cross symbol on his left shoulder. The building had endured severe damage due to the bullets and cannon shells that hit the post office during the Battle of Juarez. [Military Train]

Description: Photograph of a Mexican Military Train. Written on the side of the train is "Ejercito Mexicano Tren Militar," which translates to "Mexican Military Army Train." This train has stopped at the Juarez train depot in Ciudad Juarez. The train car is protected by a wall of thick steal on all sides. Description: Photograph of a store that has been looted. Some of the merchandise that is visible in this photograph includes an assortment of shoeboxes along both walls; on the top shelf in the rear of the room seventeen suitcases sit untouched; and in the glass cabinet closest to the left an assorted of perfume bottles, ornate snuff tins and playing cards can be seen on the lower shelf of the glass display cabinet.

Wounded Civilian

Description: Photograph of a wounded civilian. The wounded man is being assisted by at least one member of the Mexican Red Cross. The injured man has suffered some type of serious injury to his left leg. The large bandage to his left leg indicates that he had probably received some kind of gunshot wound to that leg. [A Call to Arms]
