Description: An R. S. V. P. card and invitation book announcing the marriage of Nicole Chardine and Jean-Louis Pesle. The R. S. V. P. card identifies Sabine Chardine and Madame Alfred Pesle as the hosts and states that the reception will take place after the religious ceremony on June 25th. The book presents the invitation from the Chardines first, and then the invitation from Madame Pesle. Both invitations state that the marriage ceremony will take place at the Church of Saint-Denis on June 25th.

Description: Hat of brown felt. The low, slightly domed crown is almost hidden by the upturned brim. At front facing of brim is large flat brown grosgrain ribbon bow. Around the base of the crown is affixed brown net veiling. The hat is unlined, with inner brown grosgrain ribbon hatband.
