Description: The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an oral interview with John Denison. Denison was in ROTC at Princeton when the war started and was called to active duty upon graduation in June, 1943. He went to Fort Sill and trained as an artillery officer. Before they went to England, Denison and his men packed bourbon in the barrels of their 155mm guns (which will hold 21 bottles). Oral History Interview with Archie Roberts, March 17, 2016

Description: The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Archie Roberts. Roberts joined the Army in 1943. He was trained on the 240mm howitzer, and worked in the command center of the artillery operation in the 270th Field Artillery Battalion. They deployed to England, and participated in the pre-invasion of Normandy in June of 1944. They advanced into Belgium, participating in the Battle of the Bulge. Roberts returned to the US and was discharged in late 1945.

Description: Transcript of an oral interview with Robert J. Rabbitt. He discusses going to boot camp in Mississippi as part of the 69th Division, then shipping out to France via Scotland and England. He entered France through Omaha Beach in late July 1944, and was part of later Normandy Invasion action before being transferred to the 3058th Graves Registration Company where he served until fall of 1945.

Description: The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an oral interview with William Jennings. Jennings joined the Navy in September 1942 as an aviation cadet. In March 1944, he earned his wings and a commission in the Marine Corps. He volunteered for a night fighter unit so he could go overseas.
