Description: Photograph of the 1924 Danevang Ansgar Lutheran Church confirmation class, consisting of a group of adolescent boys and girls separated into two rows. The back row is composed of the boys, who wear similar dark three-piece suits. The front row consists of the girls, who wear light-colored dresses. Their hair has been styled in short bobs. Names have been provided, but have been matched properly in another photograph where they were in different positions (see note).

Signed in the county of Matagorda, the document declares Andrew's intention to become a natural citizen of the United States. It renounces his citizenship in Denmark and the King Frederick VIII.
