Description: Message from Santiago de Jesús Sánchez to José Jesús de la Garza, captain of the militia, informing him of an individual breaking the law. According to the message the man, from Lampasos, is selling liquor and setting up games; de Jesús Sánchez asks whether the law should be enforced. de la Garza responds by saying the liquor should be destroyed and the man, Alexandro Escalera, be thrown in jail.

[Official Record from José Jesús de la Garza to the Governor]

Description: Official record from José Jesús de la Garza to the Governor of Nuevo Santander stating that José Martín Morales has sold his portion of land grant #40 in la Villa de Burgos to Julio Jose Quintana for 25 pesos in order to settle a debt. The document is severely torn on the right side of the paper and has small holes throughout the interior.

Description: Orders sent to five villas, Reynosa, Camargo, Mier, Revilla, and Laredo, from the Intendent to collect taxes and send the money. The smaller document says that this is for the year 1791, and lists out the months of January, March, June, November, and December.

[Decree from Viceroy Güemez Concerning Money]

Description: Decree from Viceroy Juan Vicente Güemez stating that older coinage is not to be sent to Spain or to anywhere outside of the country. The document itself has multiple stains and tears on both side of the paper, and the handwritten signatures are from officials in the villages acknowledging their receiving of the decree.
